Planting Seeds television series seeks to nurture and capitalise on the entrepreneurial spirit in
Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. Our goal is to provide persons wishing to start or
expand their enterprise with the financial and educational resources to realise their dream.
Planting Seeds gives those entrepreneurs who register with us the opportunity to pitch ideas to our
panel of successful investors from diverse industry backgrounds.
Episodes feature hopeful entrepreneurs delivering a concise presentation of their business plan to
the panel, after which they are given feedback. One or more of the investors may then offer to
wholly or partly finance the idea in exchange for an equity stake in the business. Alternatively,
the investors may reject the pitch altogether, offering insights as to why and how the business plan
should be improved or overhauled.
The show is also an educational resource, where our strategic partners offer expert information

Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, I was always keenly aware of the passion and potential we
possess as Caribbean people. With experience in the banking sector and having a love for business
development, Planting Seeds was formed as a way to capitalise on the strengths of our local
entrepreneurs and provide them with an opportunity to turn their dreams into reality.
Beginning with our first season in 2015, we have been able to offer both investor and entrepreneur
the chance to challenge themselves and expand their horizons. Our Planting Seeds panel has an
exceptional and diverse blend of cross-sector expertise, a proven capability to provide sound
business advice as well as promptness to deliver constructive feedback to guide our next generation
of innovators and game-changers.
As an independent company built from scratch, our vision is very much about establishing solid
professional relationships and cultivating business acumen in our local people. This has been
