To be eligible for a return-replace or refund; your item must be minimum 75% unused and in the same condition that you received it. In addition, MUST also be in the original packaging. Refund or Return- Replacement Policy is subject to reasonable assessment by CHOCARLAT executive and our decision is final. Our Return -Replacement /Refund policy lasts within 5 days. If five days have gone by, since delivery of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. The customer is responsible to adhere to the storage guideline on our packaging and failure to do so, exempts liability to CHOCARLAT.
Do note: Several types of goods are exempt from being returned /refunded. Such as; Gift Cards, Discounted /special final sale items), Downloadable software products, Sale items (if applicable). N.B. Only regular priced items may be refunded unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
EXCHANGES (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing element for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than five days after delivery

Your email of concern is addressed within 48 hours and we will notify you of the process for your return procedure. Do note that the return of an item is the responsibility of the customer to our manufacturing location in Couva, Trinidad & Tobago in lieu of our acceptance of request subject to review by our executive at the CHOCARLAT. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund /return request by email.
REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
If you are approved, on receiving and inspection of your return item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund /return request and will be processed accordingly. A credit will automatically be applied /or item replacement within a reasonable timeline.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/ she will be informed about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs /transit arrangement for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over one hundred TT Dollars, you should consider using a reputable trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, since we can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item if otherwise opted.
